How to Get Free Fire MAX Diamonds — Every Legitimate Method

Diamonds are Free Fire MAX's premium currency. They are used for bundles, gun skins, characters, the Booyah Pass and Luck Royale draws. Garena's FAQ separates the two kinds of in-game value: you can earn some currency and items by playing, while diamonds are bought with real money. Every legitimate route below is a purchase, a way to make purchases cost less, or a small official giveaway.

All the real methods at a glance

The methods that actually work

1. In-game top-up

This is the most direct route. Tap Top Up inside the game and pay through Google Play (Free Fire MAX is not listed on the Indian App Store). Check that screen for any current bonus. Offers change often, so trust what the game shows you, not what a website promised last month.

On 9 October 2026 the Top Up screen in our game showed these packs:

2. Booyah Pass and events

The Booyah Pass is bought with diamonds, and Prime Diamonds (below) can be spent on it too. Check its price and reward track in your own game to see whether the current season gives any diamonds or vouchers back. Events sometimes hand out vouchers that work for specific items.

When we checked on 9 October 2026, the current pass, Duty Hoots, cost 399 diamonds for Premium and 899 diamonds for Premium Plus, which also unlocks 50 levels straight away. The game showed Premium Plus at 70% off.

3. Prime Diamonds (added in the OB55 update)

Garena's OB55 patch notes describe Prime Diamonds like this:

1. Spend diamonds this month. That builds up Prime Diamonds for the following month.
2. Top up any amount next month. That unlocks all the Prime Diamonds you earned.
3. Use them in Luck Royale and the Booyah Pass only.
4. Use them before the month ends. Prime Diamonds are valid only during the claim month and expire at the end of it.

Prime Diamonds don't come free: you have to spend diamonds and then top up again. They do give some value back if you were going to buy the Booyah Pass or spin Luck Royale anyway. Check the event screen in your own game to confirm it is running for your account.

4. Redeem codes

These are occasional and small. Garena's redemption site says item rewards go to your Vault tab, while gold or diamonds are added to your wallet automatically. Codes need a linked account, because guest accounts can't redeem. See our redeem code page. We list a code there only after it works on our own account.

5. Google Play Points

Google Play Points are Google's loyalty programme. Google's help page for India gives the earn rates in rupees:

• You earn points on purchases made through Google Play billing, including in-game purchases. At the Bronze level, you earn 1 point per ₹5 spent.
• You can exchange points for Google Play credit, which you can then spend on a Free Fire MAX top-up.
• Points expire one year after the last time you earned or used any.
• You can't buy points, turn them into cash or move them to another account.

6. Google Opinion Rewards

Google Opinion Rewards gives you Play Store credit for answering short surveys. India is one of the countries where the app is available, and Google says only users over 18 can get surveys. It is slow, but it is real and safe, because you are using Google's own programme.

The methods that do not work

"Free diamond" generator sites and apps. No third-party website can add diamonds to your account. What these sites actually do is collect your player ID and show you ads. In the worst cases, they steal the account you sign in with.

Anything asking for your password. Garena will never need it. Redeem codes work through the official site with a normal sign-in, and nothing else needs your login details. Garena's FAQ asks parents to make sure children never share their passwords or login information with anyone.

Modded APKs. Installing a modified client is the fastest route to a permanent ban. A mod can't create currency either, because the server holds your balance, not the app.

A word on account safety

Link your account to a proper sign-in provider rather than leaving it as a guest. A guest account is tied to the device, so if you lose the phone, the account goes with it. Linking also lets you use redeem codes, which guest accounts can't.

If someone else uses your account without permission, Garena's FAQ says to tell Garena right away through the in-app reporting functions, its social media pages or its Support Page.

Quick answers

Can I buy Free Fire MAX diamonds from the App Store in India?

No. Free Fire MAX is not listed on the Indian App Store. Apple's lookup for the game's App Store ID returned no result for India on 8 October 2026. In India, top up inside the game through Google Play.

Do Prime Diamonds expire?

Yes. According to Garena's OB55 notes, they are valid only during the claim month and expire at the end of that month.

Can I use Prime Diamonds on anything?

No. Garena says they can be used only in Luck Royale and the Booyah Pass.

Can I get diamonds for free?

Not directly. The free routes, Google Play Points and Opinion Rewards, give you Play credit, which you then spend on a normal top-up. A rare redeem code may include diamonds.

Are "diamond generator" websites real?

No. Your diamond balance is stored on Garena's servers. No outside website or app can change it.
