Who we are
GamingKhabar (https://gamingkhabar.com) is an independent fan site run from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. Contact: contact@gamingkhabar.com.
What we collect
You do not need an account to use this site, and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number. If you email us, we receive what you send and use it only to reply.
Like every website, our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page and timestamps. We use them only to keep the site running and to detect abuse.
Our tools, such as the name generator, run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us.
Some articles include YouTube videos. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; the video then plays through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to it. Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, how visitors found us (for example a WhatsApp or Instagram link, or Google search), roughly where they are (country and city, worked out from the IP address), and which device and browser they use. We also count clicks on our share and copy buttons. Google says Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to tell visits apart. It does not tell us who you are, and we never send it your name, email address or any other personal details. We have switched off Google signals and ad-personalisation signals for Analytics, so this data is not linked to Google accounts and is not used to show you ads. Google handles the data under its privacy policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can stop Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Advertising and cookies
This site does not show ads yet, and does not set any advertising cookies. We plan to fund the site with advertising (Google AdSense). Before ads go live, this section will be updated to explain the cookies Google and its partners use and how to opt out.
Children and teens
Many Free Fire MAX and BGMI players are young. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We do not ask visitors for any personal data. Our analytics treats every visitor the same way, with Google signals and ad personalisation switched off, and we do not use it to build a profile of anyone. If you are a parent and believe your child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
GamingKhabar Android app
What the app downloads. The app shows the same public information as this website. To do that, it downloads public files from gamingkhabar.com (codes, events, articles). These requests carry no account, name or ID. Like any web request they reach our server with your IP address, which we don't use to identify you or work out your location.
What stays on your phone. There is no account and no login. Your player profile (nickname, avatar, main game, XP, badges), saved items, reminders, code history and settings are stored on your phone, and in your own Android backup if you have it turned on. We never receive them. We never ask for your game login, password, User ID or UID.
Notifications. Notifications are created on your phone: event reminders, and, if you turn on alerts, a background check for new codes we list, usually about once an hour.
No tracking tools. The app has no ads, no analytics and no crash-reporting tools.
Links you open and share. Articles and source links open in your browser. Our pages are covered by this policy above (Google Analytics); other sites have their own policies. Links you share from the app carry a short tag that tells our website's analytics the visit came from an app share. The tag holds no personal data.
Backups, sharing and email. If you make a backup file, it is saved only where you choose. Sharing (your Player Card image or a link) happens only when you tap Share, to the app you choose. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
Deleting your data. To delete everything, use Profile → Settings → Your data → Reset profile, or uninstall the app.
Age. The app is meant for players aged 13 and over.

Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent. Email contact@gamingkhabar.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to our Grievance Officer, Lokesh Rathore, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.

We will update this page when our practices change, and change the date at the top when we do.
