BGMI LITE Release Date, Pre-Registration and Everything Confirmed So Far
What KRAFTON has actually confirmed about BGMI LITE, separated from what people are guessing.
BGMI LITE is a lighter version of BGMI that uses less storage. You play it with your existing BGMI account. KRAFTON opened pre-registration on Google Play on 25 August 2026, but it has not yet given a launch date.
When will BGMI LITE launch? (BGMI LITE kab aayega?)
There is no exact release date yet. KRAFTON's pre-registration notice says BGMI LITE is "planned to launch later this year", and the Google Play listing says KRAFTON is "targeting official launch later this year". So the official target is some time in 2026.
As of 8 October 2026, the Google Play listing still asks players to pre-register and gives no date. If you see a "confirmed" launch date elsewhere, check whether it links to KRAFTON or Google Play. If it doesn't, treat it as a guess.

Is BGMI LITE only for low-end phones?
KRAFTON doesn't say that. The Play listing calls BGMI LITE "Optimized for all devices". It pitches the game as a way to save storage and reduce the load on your phone, and says it is "not a smaller game" but "a lighter one".
As of 8 October 2026, KRAFTON has not published minimum device requirements, so any RAM or chipset list you see is not from KRAFTON.
BGMI LITE or BGMI: which one should you play?
| BGMI LITE | BGMI | |
|---|---|---|
| Download | Around 1 GB to start, and you add modules only if you want them | Full game |

KRAFTON's own advice on Google Play: if you want "the fullest BGMI experience with the richest content", the main game "remains the best choice". BGMI LITE is for players who want a smaller download and more control over storage.
When we checked on 9 October 2026, Google Play listed BGMI LITE as Coming soon, rated 12+, with ads and in-app purchases.
